LEXINGTON, KY – The Rotary Club of Lexington held its weekly meeting Thursday, July 25th , at the Red Mile, 1200 Red Mile Road. The program’s guest speaker was Jim Duncan,Director of Planning, Lexington Fayette Urban County Government.
His topic will be “Lexington Planning: Growth and Boundaries.”
Jim was previously the manager of long-range planning for LFUCG, where he oversaw the development of comprehensive and small area plans. In addition, Jim was the transportation planner for the city of Dothan, Alabama, and the affordable housing planner for the city of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Before working in local government, he was a field artillery officer in the U.S. Army stationed at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma.
Jim is a graduate of Woodford County High School and the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in agricultural economics and a Master of Public Administration.
