Service Above Self

Rotary International is a global network of community leaders and professionals who unite with a shared mission: to make the world a better place through humanitarian service.

Established in 1905 in Chicago by Paul Harris and three business colleagues, Rotary has evolved into a worldwide organization with over 1.2 million members across more than 200 countries and regions.

In addition to traditional Rotary clubs, Rotary International supports several key avenues of service that expand its reach and impact:

Rotaract

Rotaract clubs bring together young adults aged 18 to 30 to develop leadership skills, engage in service projects, and build friendships. Rotaract members work on community and international projects, fostering a spirit of service and global understanding.

Interact

Designed for high school students, Interact clubs provide a platform for young people to contribute to their communities and develop leadership skills. Through service projects and community activities, Interact members learn about the value of service and build lifelong connections.

Rotary Community Corps

This program involves non-Rotarians who collaborate with local Rotary clubs on community service projects. RCCs empower community members to identify and address local needs, fostering grassroots solutions and community engagement

Rotary Youth Exchange

This program offers high school students the opportunity to live and study in another country for a year, promoting cultural exchange and international understanding. Participants gain a broader perspective on the world and build lifelong relationships.

Rotary Peace Fellowships

Rotary provides fellowships for individuals to study peace and conflict resolution at leading universities around the world. This program supports the development of future leaders who are equipped to address global challenges and promote peace.
