Rotary Club of Lexington Endowment

The Rotary Club of Lexington Endowment provides grants to local nonprofits and initiatives in and around Metro Lexington. Some of the grant recipients include:

The Rotary Foundation (International Foundation)

This is the international foundation which is funded by the 46,000+ Rotary Clubs and 1.4 million Rotarians around the world. The Rotary Foundation helps fund humanitarian activities, from local service projects to global initiatives – all of which fall under Rotary’s seven areas of focus.

The Rotary Foundation has funded over $4 billion in projects since its start 100+ years ago and has been given a 4-star rating (the highest rating) in Charity Navigator. In Fiscal Year 2022, The Rotary Foundation awarded $330.4 million for global service initiatives, received $373 million from Rotarians and donors, and approved 478 district grants totaling $27.2 million.
