Lexington, KY (February 25, 2025) – The Rotary Club of Lexington is proud to announce that Baby Health Services has been selected as the featured beneficiary for the upcoming Dancing with the Lexington Stars fundraiser, set for May 10, 2025, at The Carrick House.

Now in its 13th year, Dancing with the Lexington Stars, presented in partnership with Arthur Murray Dance Studio, is one of Lexington’s premier fundraising events, bringing together local celebrities, business leaders, and community members for an evening of entertainment and philanthropy. A portion of the proceeds will support Baby Health Services’ mission to provide free medical care to children in need throughout Central Kentucky.

“The Rotary Club of Lexington is honored to support Baby Health Services through Dancing with the Lexington Stars,” said Kim Johnson, event chair. “Their mission to provide free healthcare to children aligns closely with several of Rotary’s Seven Areas of Focus, including disease prevention and treatment, maternal and child health, and basic education and literacy. Healthy children have a greater opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed, and Baby Health’s work ensures that every child—regardless of their circumstances—gets the medical care they need to thrive. This partnership reflects Rotary’s commitment to strengthening communities and improving lives, and we are proud to stand alongside Baby Health in their vital mission.”

Founded in 1914, Baby Health Services has provided free healthcare to uninsured children for more than a century, ensuring access to essential medical care that promotes lifelong well-being.

“For more than a century, Baby Health Services has been a lifeline for children who might otherwise go without medical care,” said Dr. Thomas Young, Medical Director of Baby Health Services. “This partnership with the Rotary Club of Lexington will help us reach even more families in need, ensuring that every child, regardless of their financial situation, receives the essential healthcare they deserve. We are incredibly grateful for this support and look forward to making an even greater impact together.”
