Lexington, KY (April 22, 2025) – As anticipation builds for the 13th Annual Dancing with the Lexington Stars, the Rotary Club of Lexington is proud to shine a spotlight on the local media partners helping bring this community celebration to life: WDKY (FOX 56), WKYT, WLEX (LEX18), WTVQ (ABC36), and TOPS in Lexington Magazine.

Presented in partnership with Arthur Murray Dance Studio, the event takes place Saturday, May 10, 2025, at The Carrick House and will once again bring together local celebrities, business leaders, and community members for a night of dazzling entertainment and impactful philanthropy.

This year, a portion of the proceeds will benefit Baby Health Services, a nonprofit that has provided free medical care to uninsured children in Central Kentucky for more than a century.

“The Rotary Club of Lexington is honored to support Baby Health Services through Dancing with the Lexington Stars,” said Kim Johnson, Event Chair. “Their mission to provide free healthcare to children aligns closely with Rotary’s values. Healthy children have a greater opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed, and Baby Health ensures every child, regardless of their circumstances, gets the medical care they need to thrive.”

Dr. Thomas Young, Medical Director of Baby Health Services, added: “For more than a century, Baby Health Services has been a lifeline for children who might otherwise go without medical care. This partnership with Rotary will help us reach even more families in need, and we are incredibly grateful for this support.”

Equally vital to the event’s success are the efforts of the media partners who help spread the word and amplify the impact:

“Supporting Dancing with the Lexington Stars is a natural fit for FOX 56,” said Monte Costes, Vice President and General Manager of WDKY. “We’re honored to use our airwaves and digital platforms to highlight causes that uplift the people of this region.”

“We’re proud to stand alongside Rotary in supporting this inspiring event,” said Jaime Kawaja, Vice President and General Manager of WKYT. “It’s a perfect example of how media can help bring joy while also changing lives.”

“LEX18 is committed to building stronger communities, and this partnership reflects that mission,” said Sean Franklin, Vice President and General Manager of WLEX. “We’re thrilled to help amplify the work being done by Baby Health Services and the Rotary Club.”

“ABC36 has a longstanding tradition of supporting nonprofit initiatives, and Dancing with the Lexington Stars is always one of the most exciting,” said Chris Mossman, Vice President and General Manager of WTVQ. “It’s about fun, but it’s also about impact, and that’s something we believe in.”

Keith Yarber, Owner of TOP Marketing Group and Publisher of TOPS in Lexington Magazine, added: “At TOPS, we celebrate everything that makes Lexington great, and this event checks every box. We’re proud to help tell the stories of those dancing for a cause and those whose lives will be changed by the generosity of our community.”

Rotary Club President Bret Anderson expressed deep gratitude for these collaborative partnerships: “Our media partners are more than sponsors, they are storytellers, advocates, and friends. They help us shine a spotlight not only on our dancers, but on the critical needs being met in our community.”

Executive Director Peggy Trafton added: “The visibility and credibility our media partners bring to this event make a tremendous impact. Their enthusiasm and commitment help us reach hearts and homes across Central Kentucky.”
