Jennifer Hukill hopes to bring a special guest to a future meeting – her father. He is 85 and a longtime Rotarian who formerly served as president of his hometown club in Marietta, Ohio. Jennifer is excited to be a member of Lexington Rotary after spending a lifetime watching her father exemplify our motto, “Service Above Self.”
Speaking of family connections, Jennifer is a fourth-generation member of the Fenton Art Glass family. Founded in 1905 in Williamstown, West Virginia, Fenton became famous for its handmade colored art glass, innovative hues, and delicate hand-painted details. Although the company ceased producing traditional glassware in 2011, many older pieces are highly collectible. Jennifer is always looking for early pieces that may have been signed by her ancestors – and wishing she had held on to a few of them herself.
Jennifer has been fortunate to travel extensively with her husband, whose company, ARC Resin Corporation, has supplied engineering-grade plastic resin to molders throughout most of the United States for 30 years. They have often combined business travel with pleasure trips. They particularly enjoy camping, and one of their favorite destinations is Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees in Oklahoma. Another favorite is Estes Park, Colorado. At the top of Jennifer’s bucket list is a trip to see California’s spectacular redwood forests.
For the past 13 years, Jennifer has worked as a real estate agent with RE/MAX Elite Realty. She has also taught Bible study at Southland Christian Church. She loves baseball and all UK sports.
