Local Leaders Step into the Spotlight for 2025 Dancing with the Lexington Stars

Lexington, KY (April 24, 2025)

The Rotary Club of Lexington is thrilled to announce the next two participants in its highly anticipated Dancing with the Lexington Stars event: occupational therapist and entrepreneur Leah Anderson, and former council member and community advocate Josh McCurn.

Now in its 13th year, Dancing with the Lexington Stars is one of Lexington’s premier fundraising events, benefitting Baby Health Services and the Rotary Club of Lexington’s programs and scholarship initiatives. The 2025 event will be held on Saturday, May 10, at The Carrick House, featuring local “celebrities” paired with professional dancers from Arthur Murray Dance Studio.

Leah Anderson, MS, OT, is a passionate healthcare professional and the founder of Thrive Therapies, PLLC, which provides outpatient and in-home physical and occupational therapy for adults and seniors. A proud graduate of Lexington Christian Academy and Milligan University, Leah brings over 13 years of experience treating orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric conditions. Her clinic on Huguenard Drive has become a beacon of wellness for the community, reflecting her deep commitment to helping others live their best lives.

Josh McCurn, a native of Chicago and graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania, has been a dedicated community leader since moving to Lexington in 2012. He served on the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Council representing the 2nd District and is now part of the team at Haymaker Company, where he helps develop business and communication strategies. Josh and his wife, Paige, are raising their two boys, Adam andChase, to love soccer, the outdoors, and giving back to their community.

Both dancers will bring their own flair to the dance floor while raising critical funds for a great cause.
